Chelated micro nutrients are a good quick fix, but if possible follow up with soil applied, less expensive materials.
Here it was copper deficiency in alfalfa. (Text Book tells us this is not so for our soil.) Label said use a qt/A chelated copper. Fertilizer man said keep it below a pint per acre. Fertilizer man was closer to correct. Soils man suggested Copper sulfate plowed in, for the economics. That was more good advise. At least for my soil, climate and management style. | |
