Lapel, In | I have heard of guys hanging a sack of moth balls in the top of their bins.Can't say if it does any good or not. I used to spray down the bin walls with Malathion before I start harvest. Have also use a bagged product called Big 6.Dump in a coffee can full in the auger every once in a while.
The best approach is to cool the corn as cold as you can get it and seal the fan and any vents.Then leave it until you start to unload the bin. I like to catch a week when it is about zero and run the fans then.Do that and you won't have to worry about any bugs hatching out.
