| Around here hay is very short. Easter frost got half of our spring cutting, with the 1.3" we had the other day there may be hope for a fall cutting. This is not big hay country as most ground is corn and soybeans, so the hay ground is the more rolling poorer ground. Some guys baling soybeans earlier this year and other will be baling corn stalks this fall. As dad always said "Anything beats a Snowball". | |
