We've had good luck with the Ritchies. Especially like the model 300 but it may get too cold in your area for them. They are really easy to keep clean and that's the problem with the frost free units with the plastic balls. I wouldn't recommend them in a feedlot situation but they work find in pastures. Much prefer the 300 in a feedlot.
