| I went back and looked and found the post from 7/2/2007 where I wrote about our glorious 1.5" rain on Sunday, July 1st, and how it had saved the corn crop. That, friends, was the AgTalk kiss of death. We have not had a dust settling rain since. Now we are harvesting that same corn crop. After a week of combining in 100+ degree heat, our BPA is less than the average daily high.
So, congratulations, TNfarmer.
My wish is that we will have normal to above normal winter precipitation to re-charge our totally dried out subsoil. If we have a repeat of the past winter .... | |
