| First and foremost to me is my profit margin. With that said I agree that Monsanto has brought a lot of technology to us. I also believe they have pushed the anti-trust law limits with the current government being lax on these laws. Same with patent laws and their greed for profit. If given a choice with equal products I will not choose a Monsanto product. Do other companies push these laws? Yes but only after Monsanto sets the precedent. I think that Monsanto is a prime example of corporate greed. They have no moral values what so ever and are only looking after their profits. When businesses were smaller the owners had higher moral values and felt responsible for the communites they were in. Now with these large conglomerates they do not care for anything other than the CEO's bonuses. | |
