West-central Illinois | We are new to the cow/calf business (always just fed out fats). We ran the calves through the first time to vaccinate and cut the bulls this morning. When should we be weaning and giving the second round of shots? I assume we will do both at the same time. I have heard of weaning by the moon phases, but don't have an alminac (sp?). Does anyone do this?? If so, what days in Sept. should we be looking at? TIA | |
