In Indiana a sample of the manure should be taken yearly and based on the nutrients found in the manure you have guidelines for how much you can spread per acre. The last thing anyone wants is to see the IDEM. They never come just to pat someone on the back and say "good job".
We are also required to keep extensive records of where and how much was applied when. They even want it broke down into the nutrients/acre. Like we have nothing else to do. Be safe! | |
