| We were terribly dry here from late Oct to April 23rd.Then from April 23rd to May 9th we got 10" of rain. For the past 4 weeks weve found a way to miss almost every rain.Weve had alot of 90-100 degree temps lately with wind which has sure dried things out.
Corn is tasseling and earing here which is the earliest its ever done this..A 2" rain tomorrow would almost guarantee some 150 -160 bpa corn.Without rain maybe 50-75 bpa. Will be in the mid 90's by the end of the week and not much rain in sight.
25 miles to the north its rained regularly since early March and water is standing in the fields.Even a couple of miles to the east its rained more. | |
