ECIL
Whatever I find in the pantry, freezer, and/or fridge that looks like it will go together well. Sometimes if I have a little extra prep time I'll do a little experimenting and try to conjure up some new concoction. The last new dish was a lb of rope sausage cut up and sauteed in cooking wine with some garlic, onion, and green pepper. It was added to two boxes of Rice-A-Roni garlic italiano rice mix and more garlic, onion, green pepper, and cooking wine. The kids almost beg for it. In the winter it's ravioli made with crescent roll dough. Sometimes it's some burgers or pork patties on the grill followed by some veggie and maybe some skillet potatoes. I try to keep them quick and easily prepped.
