Hutchinson, MN
Everyone else's reply has been good, so I won't repeat any of it, but I agree with them all. I would like to add though that in last 6 months I installed a new milking system, the inflation liners for this system come with a recommended change interval of 2500 milkings. I've had several cows break with mastitis very close to liner change time, I'm planning on going to a shorter interval. Religiously change your liners at no longer than the recommended interval, there is a point where these new compounds that they are now made from go from good to bad very quickly.
The liner is the only part of the milking system that touches the cow!
