Chilliwack BC | We have been bedding with it for about 10 years and Dad says he would never go back to sawdust. It will not eliminate mastitis but reduces it and is easier to treat. This is only if youve got free stalls though. A dairy consultant or vet will recommend this route if you asked them anyway. It is a pain in the A$$ to deal with if you are used to a regular liquid manure setup. I hope your pits have ramps in them to dig the sand out and it will settle in the liquid tanker spreaders. | |
