West Central Iowa | When I enrolled in a summer incentive program a few years back I was required to seed a cover crop and the rules stated it could NOT be baled or grazed. I live in western Iowa and maybe things have changed since I enrolled two years ago. I was only doing a waterway with tile so the 2-3 acres of oats I cut and let lay was not a huge loss but your 60 acres is a different story. | |
