Subject: Manganese & RR Soys

This morning I heard a discussion about Round-Up tying up 'manganese' (sp?) in soybean plants.  The crop consultant has suggested adding manganese to the RU when spraying.  He said KSU studies have foung a 10-20% increase in yield when manganese is applied along with RU.

Consultant said they have test plots out on three pivots.....some with one application and will apply a second app. along with second shot of RU.

I'm planning to apply apply only one application (second time over) when the plants are bushier and can catch more of the chem.

Has any heard of this or tried it?
