Was has been used on all our acres for the past 3 years. Only place it leaves a track is turning around on the ends. Paid 6 grand for it, put a little cash into it, and its killed around 4000 acres of Aphids so far, without leaving a trail. I'd say the plane maybe spray's 35-40% of the aphid acres in my area, but thats just a swag, local coops are busy. Were the oddballs with 30" spacing, around here everyone is on 22's mostly due to beets, but some guy's think their corn yeilds better because of it. BTW: my butt is sore, and my gut isn't happy from the crappy ride. We have a wide front for it, and its a whole nother machine with it, but its not tall enough for the bean canopy, thus have to put the bike tire back on front :^( |
