Scout daily and check with a local agronomist to see if they are finding them in your area.

Pick your stage of growth, then your yield potential and then match the price and application costs to arrive at the magic number of aphids/ plant.

It is better to spray early rather than late. Those little devils can really reproduce. We have sprayed atleast some acres for Aphids for the last 3 yrs straight. The first year was by far the worst and after seeing what they can do the motto is. If in doubt spray.
