Little River, TX | Visited with one of the few cotton growers left in the county.
With all the rain the growth is rank. It has been sprayed several times, but it is still rank. Much of it skip row to compensate for the drought of 2006. The best cotton was some that had been sprayed with 2,4-D by mistake. Now that is a real twist. Now Boys and Girls do not try that at home.
The hard driving rains have driven most of the squares off the plants. | |
