| If you have to hire it done anyway definately get a plane. Damage like Seth's will pay for the difference in price.
Up here the elevator brings in a plane every year and gives guys the option of having it done by the plane or Rogator. I think that the plane gets $8/acre and they get $5/acre for doing it with the Rogator. Not sure how many gallons they use with the Rogators but the planes are either 2 or 3 gallons/acre. Doesn't sound like much but the air movement that the plane creates does an excellent job of moving the spray down into the canopy.
