Often I read here that applying LESS than FULL labelled amounts (which might vary due to different labels) of any product leads to/speeds selection of resistant weeds. Do you see any information upholding that theory? Or, could that practice indeed be speeding the spread of any resistant weeds to any product? I read in the latest AgriNews about U of IL guys describing the 2 varieties of TWH in IL that are resistant to glyphosate....sometimes. They don't mention "less than full rates" as a cause of the problem either. |
