Also, resistant weeds are in the environment regardless of herbicide usage. We just tend to select the individuals from within the population we have with the usage of particular modes of action.
There are no cross-resistance corrolations with glyphosate like what you might expect with imi- and SU materials.
Could it be a straight forward control issue? Environmental? I know that here if you try to spray about any field of marestail when it is 12" tall, you'll assume resistance when it is more timing.
