I would say you did a pretty good job.

We are correlating yield to nodules, thus the question.

Yield of the following grass crop could be just as important.

Are they pink to red inside?

I would like to see more large ones near the base of the root but can you correlate that to yield or future crops?

We usually can but not every time. Some great yields come from tiny nodules.

Inoculation still seems to pay healthy dividends either way.

Thanks for the effort, I have received several pictures via email as others ponder this situation.
