Amherst WI | We are a Dekalb dealer were I work. CraigP hit it right on the head for the most part.
We are a smaller dealer for Dekalb for 3 reasons......
1. We don't push it real hard
2. When we do push it hard and our distributor puts a bid inon the same farm as well they will usually be $20 to $30 below our cost. Then they deny it when we tell them that it happend. The ONLY customers that we get are smaller walk in customers and farms that the distributor was kicked off of.
3. We spend a majority of our time selling 2 regional copanies 1 of which is a ASI company and the other is an independent. We have had much better luck selling these two than the DK anyway.
I am not saying DK and Asgrow are bad products, they just seem to care for only the upper crust dealers. | |
