| A better way is to deliver the beans on the contract and buy a call or along contract in the futures market. Possibly you could negotiate a deal on the cash beans but the futures contract is easier. For one thing, you aren't negotiating at the whim of Bunge or whoever is your grain merchant.
You should understand that some folks want to renege on grain contracts and they are not held in high regard by people on this forum. Sometimes there is misunderstanding of what the posters intent is. Anyway if you honor your contracts and keep your word, you will have no problem with me.
