Subject: RE: Stands from the new CIH planter-how does the spacing look?

We have had a SP580 split row for two years now. We have yetter narrow shark tooth row cleaners on the 30's for no till corn and use nothing for no till beans. There are a lot of good points about the planter and some that need improvment. We are satisfied with our spacing, but it is not as good as we expected. At the same time we pay no attention to seed size or shape anymore so that helps. For the most part the planter is trouble free, except for the bulk fill. Plant most corn around 5.5 and beans 6.5-7.5.
