The fact that ethanol plants are popping up all across the US is an indicator that a lot of other farmers agree that "ethanol is about the best thing to happen to cornbelt American agriculture and communities in a long time". Its not just a mega plant owned by ADM or Cargill that offers a few additional pennies and siphons the profits off to build export facilities in S America. Its a real world solution to the high prices demanded by the petroleum companies and the surplus grains situation which has driven prices below cost of production. Farmers across the country are looking forward and adapting to markets in the most efficient manner they are capable of. And I'm proud of them.
