Subject: RE: How much Hog manure for Soybeans

NE Mo
We have pumped manure on fields going to beans some years ago. Works very well. How much to apply? I don't know, we just ran the honey wagon across the field. Hog manure will raise a very good crop of soybeans. DO NOT put on wheat. We ended up with short heads, deseased, and unhealthy plants. Lays flat on the ground too. This was not only our experience, but that of others in the nieghborhood as well. BUT, that is here, our soils, our management etc.
