Interesting you should say that Dave. We used to be in the dairy business and sold holstien steers as calves to folks to raise on their own acreages or sold sides of beef to customers. We never had one complaint about the meat. Many folks waxed lyrical about the steaks.
One guy used to enjoy getting his cattlemen buddies to guess what breed of steer their steaks came from. He said many didn't believe him.
