Subject: RE: How much Hog manure for Soybeans

I have seen alot of problems associated with manure on beans. One is insects attracted to the manure. Seed corn maggots will flock by the millions. I would suggest a seed insecticide treatment.
Another concern is white mold from to much growth caused by the excess N you don't need.
Many states are debating no manure applied to soybeans.
With N@ 400 $ aton, would not the best place for hog manure be corn??Soybeans make there own N.
I will never put manure on beans.
