| We use Option on certain fields. We are in a total "post spray" situation & it does excellent on grass & can be sprayed broadcast on carn larger than many of the other post chemicals. We usually use it in fields that we have a shattercane problem in. With most of the other post chemicals the shattercane hasn't come up when it's time to spray. With the Option we can wait & get the cane. We have run into a cane problem on a couple farms my son rented about 4 years ago but we about have it under control and will only be using Option on 30 acres this year. BTW, on the downside, Option doesn't have a residual. | |
