Devils Lake, ND
Unicorn juice. We were going to run out of whale oil in the 1800's. It was a huge concern. We found a cheaper, better way to make light. The same will be with oil. For one thing, we won't run out near as soon as people say. When prices go up, people invest the money to access new supply. Natural gas is a good example of this. 10 years ago we were going to run out. NG goes up, they figure out how to extract shale and coal bed methane and prices are lower now than they have been this century.
