We didn't leave the stone age behind because we ran out of stone. We left the stone age because something better was found. I am confident that in 1000 years historians will look back upon the time we are in now and call it the oil age. They will probably say, "Boy, sure glad they found something better than oil. That would suck to have to live like that."
