Subject: Re: What is wrong with Organic food?

A few years ago, I read about taste tests and nutrition testing. Organic food actually lost in taste tests and in nutrition! Non-organic food was favored. So, why pay more for something that is of lesser value both in taste and in what it does for your body?

All food is organic, whether it is intentionally grown that way or not. It all comes from the natural building blocks of life. Fruits and vegetables have natural protective coats on them to ward off insecticides or herbicides too. You just have to wash your food before you eat it- organic or not. Plants will not use things out of the soil that are not needed for the nutrition of the plant. As stated above, organics are a man made fantasy to make buyers feel better about their food when in all reality, that is all it is- hype. Non-informed buyers who will pay the price for organics are the only reason it is thriving.
