I'd be very reluctant to put any liquid N on top of the ground unless I could water it in or I was certain of a good rain within a day or so. With hot/humid conditions I'd venture to say you could easily loose 1/3 to half your N. At least thats our experience in Nebr.
Sidedress w/ Sprayer....what do you think?
