Somebody else may need to chime in here. I'm guessing a 50/50 mix of oats, and corn, or maybe barley. And you will probably need to salt ration it in a self feeder, or just limit bunk feed them. We used to put some oats in creep feeders for baby calvs still on mama cows, but that's about the extense of my knowledge of feeding them. On our grass cattle we use a corn and gluten salt ration in self feeders. But that may not be something you can do up there.
