Goff Kansas
downside risk in beans??????????? if you don't think there is some, better wake up. all 9 dollar beans is doing now is enticing that extra couple mil acres to our astranged freinds south of the equator, along with prob what seems a million or so extra double crop beans here. ENJOY THE PROFIT!! Not to be rude, but giving up 250K in the corn market happens all over the place. i am sure there are bigger farmers out there producing up side of 250000 bu., and prob sold a bunch for around 3.60. a whole dollar off the july high. combine that with a possible ++ basis, and the scenario is very plauseable. if you start thinking about all the money you lost compared to the high, boy what a depressing place to be...... here is the deal though...... 3.60 corn was still a DECENT price. why are we bucking a decent price.
