A few years of notill corn - bean rotation with the beans drill at an angle and your fields will be so smooth you can skip rocks off the surface.  Most rocks are partially submerged with very very few actually on top of the ground where the head can pick them up.

I would think rolling would tend to seal the surface thus resulting in either more runoff or ponding depending upon the field.  In either case, not good for maximum yields.
