A For-Most 150 Squeeze Chute with palp cage and an A-25 auto headgate is about the most simple, basic setup that I have seen for a smaller operation. Or if you are happy with your current headgate bolt it on if the mounting points fit. Very economical, sturdy and the system works. The A-25 works well on calves after they get over about 250-275 lb. Or get a manual A-30 headgate. The thing about having 30 pairs is you need a good workable setup almost the same as if you had 300 pairs. Or setup a corral and an alley of some sort and let the vet bring his chute and headgate twice a year for $25. extra a visit. Good luck Jim at Dawn I agree with Ben and it's not economic at 30 head but you need SOME facility regardless if its economical or not.
