straw here in season last fall was 100 $ a ton and i sold some this spring for 125 $. barley straw is in demand now by the peole that have algae in their ponds. organic straw has more demand than conventional. orders are flowing in now for september baled organic oat straw. 14 x 18 bales 36" long. about 35 to 40 lbs.
