Jersey Shore, PA | 1. If you split into "breakout sessions" make sure to do several of them at a time and then repeat them a couple times so people can get a chance to go to each one if desired.
2. A free combine, gps, 500 acres............you better have enough seats. I got a rain guage and a bag of ice melt once.
3. Good speakers: Anyone with new ideas, doing something different and successful. It's nice to get someone from out of the area that no one has heard. Like I said before we had Ed Winkle for no till. I've also heard Ray Rawson on strip till, Ken Ferrie on corn management, and Jerry Gulke on marketing. All were excellent.
4. Just leave some time for q&a at the end and maybe extra for some informal chatter after the meeting.
5. It sounds like you're going to make an effort to have a nice meeting. Just charge for it accordingly. People will show. | |
