North Dakota | Thanks to all who take the time to share their farming pics and I figured I would share a few more. We started off the year very dry here in north centeral ND and once the faucet opened it has not stopped for long. 9 to 11 inches in May and somewhere around 4 in June. I'm not complaining but we struggled a little getting the later seeded crops in. We sat for 14 days without turning a wheel at one point. Rutting up the fields a little trying to spray but we have seen worse.

These last 2 photos are of a new wheat variety I want to save for seed. When I got to this part of the field I wondered what the heck I had done mixing a different variety in this field. After thinking for a few minutes I remembered I had run out of dry fertilizer (11-52-00) so I ran a few round till my seed was empty.
Last pic is for CND, you were wondering about wheel tracks. This is from the same field my pics from before are. In lighter sandier soils it seems to pack harder and the wheat struggles to get through.
