On corn I would apply Headline at flag leaf as was stated earlier. You will be happier with the results if you apply it by airplane rather than ground rig. Your pilot will balk but try to convince him that 4-5gpa is better than the 2gpa he will want to do. You might also do some checks adding coron to the mix. We saw some good results last year.
