| I use a tank cleaner I get from our local co-op. First I drain the tank, pump & clean out all the filter housings. Then I use a wet vac to get out any mix remaining in the bottom of the tank. . Next I use the pressure washer to blow out the booms. I then add 100 gal of clean water & the recomended amount of tank cleaner.
My tank doesn't have one of those ball sprayers inside the tank so I fixed up a rotary lawn sprinkler that I hook into the feed line to the center boom section. I run the sprayer for about 45 min-to an hour with the sprinkler inside the tank . I then spray out the the mix in the tank & refill with about 50 gal of clean water which I then spray out.
So far I haven't had any problems when switching to another crop. | |
