Picture #2 was taken 12 rows south of the Picture # 3 Both those were taken yesterday, 10 days after the first picture of the twin row. You had asked for follow up pictures of row closing.
I got some other Pictures of the twin row corn that tells the (well as Paul Harvey would say) rest of the story. Lets just say trying to talk on the cell phone and plant 2 passes in the marker track didn't work as well. The twin rows varied from 1" between 14" rows. And as Jim @ Dawn figured out the "delta" spacing (adjacent seeds staggered 50% not next to each other) which is ideal. was by accident. I am however surprised at the number places I got that spacing. I for that matter I'm surprised 2 of the strips (4 passes) I have 5-7" twin rows pretty much across those strips.
