Subject: What corn hybrids are looking better?

Seems as though there are some that are looking better than others in the worst of it. In 05' one hybrid in my plot that is know for it's drought/heat resistant just smiled through all of June in Illinois. It did show stress much later than others. It went on to yield over 200 and was the only hybrid that made such a top. It yielded more in 05' than in 04' and 06'.

As we see information about the hybrid "protecting" itself I can only wonder if that is a result of less heat/drought stress tolerance. The hybrids that show less stress are in reality more adapt to surviving such as having more southern/western adaptation. So it's just an observation from our little corner. We are not showing severe stress yet from a Memorial day shower but it's not far off.
