| Canada thistle is our number one weed problem here in freezer peas, just for what you mentioned. Luckily there is a herbicide that will fry them ( thistrol), if you get it on at the right time. The buds sort through the line just like a pea, wouldnt want to not se one on my fork before it went in my mouth. Luckily most of the time, any escapes are well above the height of the pea crop, so they can steer around them.
