Subject: RE: Cleaning sprayer before RR beans

East Central Ia
Run the tank empty (1000gal). Run the 100gal of clean water from my rinse tank in through the spurge tubes to flush the sides of the tank out. Spray it out the boom. Get back to the barn yard and flush the tank again with maybe 10-15 gal and let it run out on the gravel. Then i hook the pump up and shut the valve off to my tank and let my transfer pump blow a few gallons through the boom. Fill it with roundup and spray 5 mins later. Only time I did have a problem was when it sat for a couple days after cleaning it out. I curled the beans for 50ft or so. Must have sucked some chemical out of the hoses and got a little concentration to it or something. If i spray right away I have never had a problem.

Oh and that slug that gets left from the aztrazine is probably just the carrier. Its a pain to clean out but from my experience its pretty much harmless.
