Near-north Ontario, French River | Nothing smartarse about that comment Tim. Around these parts its very rare for anyone to dry wheat , everyone lets it dry in the field. Only time Ive ever heard of guys drying wheat with heat/air in a bin is when there was heavy disease pressure that warranted harvesting the wheat 'wet'. Having said that wheat is a huge crop on our area so maybe if a guy had 1000's of acres of wheat to harvest drying would allow a more timely harvest . |
