Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | The things that you need are: a relay that closes to complete the circuit between Pins 4 & 5 which are B & C of the weatherpak connector and also change the menu setting to watch for the external switch.
The 12V N.O. relay must be activated by something that goes to 12V when the coverage map is desired. Normally this would be the Raven Orange/White wire. This wire goes to pin 10 of the Raven console cable. Check for the presence/absence of 12 V on this wire as the Raven Master is cycled ON/OFF. The other coil terminal of the relay needs to go to chassis ground or the Raven White. Do not hook it to Pin A of the weatherpak connector as that is for simulated Radar out.
Check to be sure that the relay cycles (listen for it to click) when the Raven Master is turned ON/OFF. |
