Southeastern Kansas | Personally, I don't want either extreme but that is not my choice. Our situation with too much water is all the soil distruction. Rivers overflow their banks and scour the fields like crazy. No-till with all the previous years residue plugging up terrace channels and water ways to the point of destruction. VERY disturbing to bust your butt to be a good steward of the land and then have this happen. Mr. Clark 90 , I too have stood on a highway taking it all in like your picture portrays and I too know what your thoughts are.... Sure doesn't make it one bit easier even tho many have been in the same boat. | |
