I do not have my chart here, but it looks worse than it is. As long as the plant was not broken off below the growing point it will be fine. I would guess maybe 2% yield loss max.

You can find a corns growing point by cutting off the plant at ground level. Then take the knife and split it length ways. You will see an arrow point going up with may layers close together. Those are the coming leaves. On your corn I think the point would be about 2 inches above the level of the ground.
